ATLANTA — A homicide investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
Just before 6 a.m., officers responded to Hills at Greenbriar apartments at 2909 Campbellton Road SW in reference to a person shot. When they arrived, police found a man who had been shot inside of a vehicle. Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
It's unclear if a suspect is in custody at this time. Detectives are working to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
