ATLANTA — A man was stabbed to death on Sunday afternoon in Buckhead, Atlanta Police said.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person stabbed near the 700 block of Morosgo Drive NE shortly before 1:30 p.m. This is in the Lindbergh/Morosgo neighborhood of the Buckhead district. When they arrived, they found a man who had a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has since identified the victim as 69-year-old Daniel Woods.
Officers detained a possible suspect in the area, police said. Homicide Unit Investigators responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. This is an active investigation, police said.
