Man shot dead at DeKalb County Zaxby's after argument, police say

​DeKalb County Police Department was called around 9 p.m. to a Zaxby's on Panola Road regarding a person being shot.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — An argument turned into a deadly shooting at a DeKalb County Zaxby's on Tuesday night, according to police. 

DeKalb County Police Department was called around 9 p.m. to a Zaxby's on Panola Road regarding a person being shot. When officers arrived, they reported a 24-year-old man shot twice in the back. He was taken to the hospital, where the police said he later died. 

Investigators said the victim got into an argument with someone inside the fast food restaurant, and when he walked outside, he was followed and then shot.
