Deadly apartment shooting resulted from robbery, search is on for 19-year-old suspect: Gwinnett County Police

Here is what we know.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A 19-year-old is accused of killing another during a deadly shooting at an apartment complex this weekend, Gwinnett County Police said. 

This comes after police responded to 1564 Herrington Road, the location of Herrington Mill Apartments in unincorporated Lawrenceville, on Saturday night. 

Police have identified Raheem Whiteside, 19, of Dacula, as the suspect in the case. He is accused of killing 20-year-old Timothy Henderson of Lawrenceville, police said. Henderson was a resident at the apartment complex, and detectives have determined the murder was the result of a robbery that took place shortly before the shooting, according to police. 

Arrest warrants have been issued for Whiteside for malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies. His location is currently unknown, police said.
