SOUTH FULTON, Ga. -- Police say a suspect in South Fulton tried to hit an officer with a vehicle Tuesday morning before wrecking and running away.
According to a spokesperson for the South Fulton Police Department, they were called in around 11:25 a.m. regarding reports that the suspect tried to hit the officer at an apartment complex at 2525 Flat Shoals Road.
Scene video from the location shows the car in question wrecked on the side of the road and a power pole snapped.
After the wreck, the suspect allegedly jumped a fence nearby and led police on a foot pursuit. Police haven't released any details on the suspect or why police were in the area. However, they have confirmed he is still on the run.
