ATLANTA — A young man is dead after a shooting near a southeast Atlanta apartment complex Thursday night, police said.
Atlanta Police said the gunfire erupted near 1940 Fisher Road SE, the location of Park Vista Apartments. The apartment complex isn't far from Benteen Park.
Officers are investigating what led up to the shooting and identified the 20-year-old victim as Joshua Ray Eatman. It's unsure if there are any suspects in custody.
