ATLANTA — A man is now dead and a woman is in the hospital after an incident at a home in the Orchard Knob neighborhood in southwest Atlanta late Sunday night, according to Atlanta Police.
The deadly incident happened at 11:53 p.m. at the home on River Ridge Drive.
When officers arrived at the home, they found a man shot to death and a woman who was stabbed. The woman was then rushed to the hospital for treatment, authorities said.
Authorities said homicide investigators responded to the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are still investigating the incident. No other details released.
