Waffle House employee shot in arm by customer in Stockbridge

The employee was shot in the arm, and police said their injuries were not life-threatening.

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — A Waffle House employee was shot by a customer early Monday morning in Stockbridge, police said.

The Stockbridge Police Department said in a statement that an altercation between the employee and customer led to the shooting, which happened around 6:30 a.m. The incident occurred at the Waffle House on Hwy. 138, near I-75.

The department said the employee was shot in the arm and that their injuries were not considered life-threatening. They added the shooter fled the scene.

The employee was taken to a hospital for treatment.
