COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A 34-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a woman’s home and sexually assaulting her, according to the Magistrate Court of Cobb County.
The woman reportedly heard the man tapping on her bedroom window on Feb. 8 at 11:30 a.m. She opened her front door and said the man rushed in and physically assaulted her as he forced his way into the home.
According to police, he choked the woman until she became unconscious. She woke up to find herself nude from the waist down. The officers who arrived at the scene said she had visible bruises all over her body after the assault.
Kendal Chaves was arrested and charged with aggravated sodomy, aggravated assault, first degree burglary and battery. He was arrested Sunday and is held at Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
