ATLANTA -- Basil's Restaurant and Bar in Buckhead suffered damage in a fire Monday morning.
The fire broke out shortly before 8 a.m. at the restaurant in the 2900 block of Grandview Avenue.
Atlanta Fire officials said the fire started in the building's attic and did not spread beyond that room. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.
The restaurant was closed at the time. No one was hurt.
Crews closed Pharr Road near the scene as they worked to put out the fire. Its cause is under investigation.
