Top 10 most wanted fugitive captured in College Park

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. -- One of the FBI's 10 most wanted fugitives was arrested Tuesday in College Park.

According to the agency's Atlanta bureau, Antwan Tamon Mims was arrested without incident by the FBI's Atlanta Metro Major Offender task force and SWAT team.

Mims was arrested around 4 pm.

Mims was wanted for the March 25, 2018, murders of Cortez Lamont Miller and Michael Canthrell Johnson while they were attending a house party in Benton Harbor, MI.

After shooting his victims, Mims allegedly shot them again in the head as they were on the ground.

Mims is facing two counts of first-degree premeditated murder, possession of a firearm by a felon, and two felony weapons counts.

The FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list was established in March 1950. Mims was the 519th person to be placed on the list, the 486th captured, and the ninth arrested in Georgia.
