DECATUR, Ga. — DECATUR, Ga. - Police are searching for the person who hit and killed a pedestrian on the 300 block of East College Avenue.
The crash happened on Friday at approximately 3:24 a.m.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The victim's name is not being released at this time.
The Decatur Police Accident Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigations Division and the Georgia State Patrol are investigating the incident.
