EAST POINT, Ga. -- Police have identified a suspect in a fatal shooting at an East Point restaurant earlier this week.
Investigators believe 27-year-old Yusuf Abdul Alkarim killed the manager of Ikhlas, a seafood restaurant behind the Shell station at Sylvan Road and Cleveland Avenue, at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators identified the victim as 36-year-old Riyadh Nuriddin, a married father of three. East Point Police Lt. Cliff Chandler said Nuriddin's body was discovered not long after he was killed. Investigators believe robbery was the motive.
