Three people escape burning mobile home, but dog perishes

Three people escaped a mobile home, but their dog perished in a Hall County mobile home fire early Monday morning.

Fire crews responding to the 3600 block of Titshaw Drive shortly after 5:00 a.m., found a single-wide mobile home about 50 percent involved, according to Hall County Fire Captain Zachary Brackett.

Brackett said the blaze was quickly dowsed from inside.

He said that three people were able to escape the fire without injury, but a dog was killed as a result of the blaze. Brackett said the residents will be staying with family for now.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
