DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — One person is dead, and several are recovering in the hospital following a crash in DeKalb County on Friday night, according to officials.
DeKalb County Police Department said officers responded around 11:58 p.m. to a crash near Interstate 20 west of Lithonia Industrial Boulevard. When they arrived, officers reported that two cars were involved.
One person had died, police said, and several others were taken to the hospital, but officers did not share the extent of their injuries.
The number of people involved in the crash was not released, nor were any details about how the crash happened.
