LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who tried to burglarize a church over the weekend.
Police said the suspect drove into the parking lot of 2149 Five Forks Trickum Road in unincorporated Lawrenceville and tried unsuccessfully to enter the front door of the church.
He then broke into the church through the back door, but the alarm sounded and he ran back to his vehicle and fled.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue Hurley baseball hat, blue and white striped shirt, khaki pants, brown shoes, and a light colored watch. His vehicle is described as a gray newer model four door Kia.
