ATLANTA (WXIA) – Longtime Atlanta news anchor Chuck Moore passed away last Friday.
Many of you woke up with Chuck and Jill Becker for many years on 11Alive News.
Chuck worked here at 11Alive from 1979 through 1997. Before that, he anchored at WAGA-TV from 1972 through 1979.
11Alive's own Chris Holcomb was deeply impacted by Moore and remembered him in a touching tribute.
Our prayers are with his family and friends in this time of sorrow.
