A man was found shot to death in the parking lot of a Macon motel Sunday afternoon.
Deputies identified the victim as 38 year-old Tarvares Lester.
According to Bibb Coroner Leon Jones, it happened at the EconoLodge at 1990 Riverside Drive.
Sgt. Clay Williams with the Bibb Sheriff’s Office says the call came in around 3:30 p.m.
He says they believe there is only one suspect, but they haven’t been able to locate them yet.
