Man missing in DeKalb County after leaving Applebee's earlier this week

DeKalb County Police said Thursday that James King had gone missing on Monday after leaving the restaurant on Lawrenceville Hwy.

A community search effort is underway in DeKalb County after a man went missing earlier this week after leaving an Applebee's.

The DeKalb County Police Department said 57-year-old James King was last seen on Feb. 26 leaving the Applebee's at 4353 Lawrenceville Hwy.

According to a Facebook post by the department, King is 5-foot-8 and weighs 200 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing either a gray or maroon jacket with khaki pants and black/white shoes, DKPD said.

"If you see him call 911 or SVU at 770-724-7710. #WeAreDKPD," the department posted.
