MARIETTA, Ga. – Tiffany Whitton vanished from the Marietta, Ga., Walmart Supercenter on Cobb Parkway on Sept. 13, 2013 around 2 a.m. For four years, she’s had no contact with her mom or her young daughter.

The summer after she went missing, police searched Whitton's boyfriend, Ashley Caudle’s house, but didn't find any evidence pointing to her. According to police, he was the last person to see the 27-year-old.

But, his mother, Peggy Bailey, told 11Alive that she didn’t believe her son had anything to do with Whitton’s disappearance. But she did say he had a drug problem.

"My son's a good guy if he's not using drugs. You couldn't ask for a better young man," Bailey said. "If he's using drugs he wasn't allowed in my home, around my grandchildren, or around me. This was not his home."

"What really worries us is that she literally vanished without a trace," Marietta Police officer David Baldwin said a few months after her disappearance. "She evidently kept in contact with a lot of her friends and family over the course of time and now all that contact has completely ceased."

At that time, Baldwin said Whitton’s then-6-year-old daughter had not heard from her mother in five months.

Whitton's mother created a Facebook page called "Find Tiffany Whitton."

“We still believe there is at least one person who either knows where Tiffany is or whether something may have happened to her," her mother said in a recent post. "Not knowing where she is or whether she's alive is agonizing."
