EAST POINT, Ga. — In celebration of Mother's Day, on East Point non-profit organization is inviting expectant mothers to a community baby shower in their honor.
This Saturday, 3D Girls, Inc will host a free baby shower for new moms in need in the East Point area.
The project’s mission is to “encourage mothers to build a foundation for their lives based on integrity, commitment and empowerment”. The program is designed to empower young women before, during, and after their transition into motherhood.
“We wanted to do something to help these moms take care of their babies.”
The organization has been collecting donations for weeks for the free event. Community vendors, volunteers, and supporters are welcome to attend, support, and donate.
“We have all kinds of diapers, baby wipes, we have a lactation specialist, it’s really going to be a great event.”
The shower will be held Saturday, May 11th starting at 2 pm at 1332 Metropolitan Parkway.
