Closures, opening delays in north Georgia after severe weather | List

Here's where we're seeing school impacts in the region.

WALKER COUNTY, Ga. — Some school districts in far north Georgia are delaying the start of their school day after severe weather swept through the region overnight.

A second round of storms is also expected to come back through in the early morning Thursday, and in the farthest northwest corner of Georgia, Dade County will be under a tornado watch until 10 a.m.
