DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – Video shows the DUI arrest of an investigator with the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office.
Craig Scott was stopped by Rockdale County deputies Friday night after he allegedly was caught driving a county-issued car more than 100 mph on Interstate 20.
In the officer's dashcam video, Scott is seen admitting to having three alcohol drinks.
According the police report, Scott was unsteady on his feet, his speech was "thick tongued and slurred" and eyes wer "bloodshot and glassy."
Scott, 45, initially agreed to a sobriety test, but later refused to complete the test or submit to a breathalyzer. He was arrested and charged with speeding and DUI.
Scott has worked as an investigator for the solicitor general and district attorney's office in DeKalb County since 1998. He has been placed on administrative leave, according to district attorney's office. His county-issued car was only meant to be used on official business, the office said.
