Manhunt | Reward offered for fugitive convicted child molester

The ex-corrections officer has been evading law enforcement since October.

ATLANTA — A $2,000 reward has now been offered to help find a wanted man who was found guilty of multiple crimes against a 15-year-old girl.

Charles Pinckney is a former DeKalb County detention officer who was standing trial on charges of statutory rape, child molestation and sexual battery for a 2016 incident.

Officials say days before he was convicted of those crimes, he took off. That was in late October 2017.

He is a wanted fugitive and Fulton County Sheriff's officials say he is considered armed and dangerous.

If you have seen this man or know his whereabouts you are asked to call local police or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
