NBA Dunks of the Week: LeBron still soaring amid controversy

From all of the rim-rattling, posterizing throw downs that we've witnessed throughout the week of NBA action, these five dunks topped the charts, earning a spot in our NBA Dunks of the Week as we near the postseason.

(Dunks from March 21 to March 27)

5. DeAndre Jordan • alley-oop from Chris Paul

We're not exactly sure why DeAndre Jordan was so angry ... but we certainly don't mind. From the ferocious block on one end to the coveted alley-oop finish from CP3 on the other, this was an electrifying sequence of basketball.

4. Andrew Wiggins • soaring one-hander

Wait, a Timberwolves player other than Zach LaVine can dunk?

3. LeBron James • reverse double-pump

Instead of simply throwing down his signature one-handed tomahawk slam, James added some flair for one of the best dunks of the week. But he wasn't finished ...

2. Josh Richardson • over Jason Smith

For the third week in a row, J-Rich 2.0 hijacked the highlight-reels with his high-flying throwdowns.

1. LeBron James • over two Knicks

James has been unable to avoid the negative spotlight because of his questionable actions on social media and comments about his willingness to take a pay cut in order to play with his friends, but the fact remains: he's a very, very good basketball player.
