$1 million winner in Georgia's Mega Millions drawing

According to the Mega Millions website, there was no jackpot winner anywhere in the country on Friday night.

ATLANTA — A $1 million ticket was sold Friday night in Georgia's Mega Millions, but the jackpot continues to climb after no one walked away with the grand prize. 

The Mega Millions winning numbers were 19, 20, 22, 47, and 58, with a yellow "Mega Ball" number of 1. The "Megaplier" in effect was 2x.

According to the Mega Millions website, there was no jackpot winner across the country for Friday night's drawing. That means the expected next jackpot is $735 million for the drawing on Tuesday night, March 12, at 11 p.m. ET.

What are my chances of winning the Mega Millions?

The game's odds are 1 in 302.6 million. Lucky winners can choose an annuity with annual payments over 29 years. Winners almost always take the cash option.

How to play 

According to the Georgia Lottery website. 

  1. Choose five (5) numbers from (1 through 70), then select a Mega Ball number from (1 through 25) or use the Quik Pik option and let the computer select for you.
  2. Select the number of plays you would like to play (up to 5). Each play is $2.
  3. Select the number of consecutive drawings you would like to play. You can play the same numbers for up to 26 drawings.
  4. Optional Play: Add Megaplier for an extra $1 to increase your winnings up to $5 million!
  5. Sign the back of your ticket upon purchase and secure your ticket.
