KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dolly Parton is coming to Neyland Stadium this Saturday... and she's got a special surprise for Vol fans!
Sevierville's favorite daughter announced Monday morning she will be at the Tennessee-Georgia game to cheer on the Vols. The No. 21 Vols play No. 1 Georgia at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
"I am so excited to join 101,000 of my friends in the best place for college football, Neyland Stadium! I'll see you there!" she said.
One of the big questions people had after the announcement Monday: Will Dolly be performing during the game? She spilled the beans during a 'Biscuits & Jam' interview with Southern Living this week. The answer was 'yes,' and you can probably guess which song based on the venue.
That's right: Dolly will be singing a special rendition of "Rocky Top," so get those 'Woooos' ready. Dolly said during an interview she hopes she will be able to hype up the crowd enough to give the Vols some extra momentum against the Dawgs.
