Former North Gwinnett High star Ja'Wuan James will be anxiously awaiting a phone call on Thursday.

The 6'6" offensive tackle dominated SEC opposite while playing at Tennessee. He'll be waiting for the commissioner to call his name on Thursday and announce his new NFL team.

"It's out of my hands so I just feel anxious," James said. "I'm not nervous because I finished everything I had to. I'm pretty confident in the combine and pro day and all the meetings and all these things with coaches.

But even with his natural 'left tackle' size, if it wasn't for his high school coach Bob Sphire, Juwan might have been pounding the boards instead of pancaking defensive ends. He waited until middle school to play football.
