ATLANTA — During his stellar season on the football field, one Atlanta Falcons player is proving that his impact extends far beyond the game.

Over the Christmas weekend, Jessie Bates III collaborated with the Atlanta shelter Solomon’s Temple Inc. for Women & Children as part of an annual initiative supporting single mothers.

On December 23, Bates generously treated a group of single mothers and their children to a catered Christmas dinner at Solomon’s Temple. They not only delivered Christmas gifts but also spent quality time with the families. As an extra gesture, sweatshirts were provided along with the presents.

Continuing the festive spirit on December 24, the single mothers and their children were invited to attend the Falcons game against the Colts, where they enjoyed the match from a suite.

For Bates, this initiative is more than just a holiday event; it's a reflection of personal inspiration drawn from witnessing his mother's sacrifices during his upbringing. Witnessing her challenges has fueled a commitment to supporting single mothers on their journey.

Solomon’s Temple Inc., the partner organization for this heartwarming initiative, focuses on guiding homeless families toward lives of independence. Their approach is distinctive, employing a family coaching model instead of the traditional case management system. Under this model, families are empowered to manage the execution of their own goals, with family coaches providing supplemental support.
