ATLANTA — Celebrate National Weatherperson's Day with the 11Alive StormTrackers this weekend.

Our team of meteorologists and the 11Alive ThunderTruck will be at the Children's Museum of Atlanta on Sunday, Feb. 5, sharing our love of the weather with the young minds of Atlanta.

During the three-hour afternoon session, children can interact with our team of meteorologists and learn how we talk about and present the weather on your television. There will be several interactive group programs where young attendees can sing and dance in our weather-themed programming.

Outside the museum, you can learn about the 11Alive ThunderTruck, our storm-tracking weather truck. It is loaded with special cameras and technology that allows us to bring you live video from across north Georgia as all types of extreme weather move in.

The afternoon event runs from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is for ticketed museum guests only. Adults are not allowed to enter the museum without a child.

You can purchase a ticket at the Children's Museum of Atlanta website, linked here.
