Saturday will bring warm conditions with highs in the upper 70s under a mostly cloudy sky with scattered showers and storms. Expect an isolated storm in the afternoon to possibly be strong to severe with damaging wind being the main threat.
Our severe risk in north Georgia is rated at a marginal, or a level one out of five. A higher risk for severe weather is expected into middle and south Georgia.
For Sunday, lows will be in the 60s and highs in the 80s as we deal with a few isolated showers and storms into the afternoon, but drier conditions move in for Sunday evening.
We will be drier for Monday through Wednesday with lows in the 60s and highs in the 80s under a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.
We will get a slight chance for rain back in the forecast on Thursday with a mostly cloudy sky as lows sit in the 60s and highs in the 80s.
Rain chances diminish again on Friday with lows in the 60s and highs in the 80s under a partly cloudy sky.
Expect half an inch to an inch and a half of rain to occur across north Georgia this next week with a majority of rain occurring over the next 48 hours.
