There will be plenty of sunshine around this afternoon. Very warm, some will call it hot. We expect a high in Atlanta of 88°. If we hit 87, that would be the hottest day of the year so far.
Enjoy the sunshine today if you can, clouds will increase tonight.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies during the day Friday. A few isolated showers are possible early, but scattered showers are more likely during the afternoon. Showers/T-Storms will not be wide spread. Right now, it's only a 30% chance. High will be in the low 80s.
Scattered showers and storms will be possible on Saturday, which also brings the highest rain chances this week. Lows will be in the 60s and highs in the lower 80s.
Sunday and Monday will bring similar conditions with lows in the 60s and highs in the lower 80s under a partly cloudy sky with isolated showers and storms possible.
We drop to just a slight chance for rain on Tuesday with lows in the 60s and highs in the mid 80s under a partly cloudy sky.
The rain chances go away completely for Wednesday with lows in the 60s and highs back into the upper 80s under a partly cloudy sky.
Expect an inch or less of rainfall to occur across much of north Georgia throughout this next week, but some isolated spots may see more.
