TIMELINE | The snow has fallen, now what to expect in Georgia Saturday

Here is what you need to know.

ATLANTA — Snow has fallen all over north Georgia, with reports of four inches up farther north and an inch accumulation in parts of north metro Atlanta. 

Most of the snow is done falling, but winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories will continue for dozens of counties.

The weather warnings and advisories span parts of north and northeast Georgia. As the map below indicates, more northern counties will see winter storm warnings through 7 p.m. while more southern counties will be under winter weather advisories through 4 p.m.

Here's a look at what to expect through the rest of the day:

Saturday afternoon

Moving into the afternoon, light showers are being reported in parts of metro Atlanta. We will be just above freezing temperatures

To the north, the rain might be mixed with a little bit of snow still.

Saturday evening 

The precipitation will move out by the afternoon, leaving cold temperatures for the evening. 

The low for the day will be around 33 degrees.
