PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. — Gwinnett Police are investigating a double homicide at a hotel after finding a man and woman dead.
Officers said they were called to the Norcross Inn off Bay Circle shortly before 4 a.m. on Thursday. Someone told police they were walking by and saw bodies lying on the floor of the room. Police have yet to release the identity of the victims but said they were a man and a woman.
Investigators said they believe the two people had been staying at the hotel for two days. At this time, they are still trying to discover how they died. Police haven't said whether they have identified a suspect in the deaths or a motive.
Both detectives and crime scene investigators were called to the scene following the discovery and remained well after dawn as they continued processing the scene.
