ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are searching for a suspect in the deadly shooting of a man killed at a Midtown apartment complex parking garage two weeks ago.
The shooting happened on Feb. 23, 2024. It appears to have happened at the parking garage at an apartment complex on Camellia Lane NE. According to Google Maps, this appears to be the address for the ibex at Midtown. Police found 31-year-old Valur Valsson shot at the complex.
Valsson was then taken to hospital, where he later died. A photo of the victim can be seen below.
According to a video later released by law enforcement, a man dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes pulls out what appears to be a firearm and shoots at a car that is backing up.
Police are offering up to $2,000 for those who can give information leading to an arrest.
