DeKalb County mother accused of starving child to death, warrants allege

Warrants allege Alice Tracey Davis concealed the death of her child for over a week.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A DeKalb County mother is facing multiple charges, including felony murder, following the death of her 1-year-old child, according to arrest warrants.

Alice Davis is accused of refusing to feed her son as well as refusing to seek medical attention for the 1-year-old, who was extremely ill and diagnosed with Peripheral Pulmonic Stenosis.

Documents also allege Davis concealed the death of her child for over a week without notifying law enforcement. 

Once the child was discovered, a death investigation was launched by DeKalb County Police.

Right now, Davis is being charged with:

  • Felony murder
  • Concealing death
  • Cruelty to children
