ENCORE! Elton John’s coming back to Atlanta for farewell tour, once again

Elton John said would retire from touring after his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour – a 3-year, 300-stop tour to end in 2021

ATLANTA — You can call it a farewell, but before then you can call it a comeback.

Legendary singer-songwriter Elton John announced that he’s adding two more concert dates in Atlanta for his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.

He's heading to State Farm Arena for two nights in November

During his last visit, John still rose to the occasion after fans anticipated a cancellation when the singer battled an ear infection.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, his show at the Orlando Amway Center was reportedly canceled 20 minutes before it was supposed to start.

John, a part-time Buckhead resident, said he would retire from touring after his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour – a 3-year, 300-stop tour to end in 2021

“Performing live fuels me and I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe. I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour," John  said in a statement on his website.

Fans who want tickets can sign up for pre-sale and be a verified fan.
