Armed and dangerous: GBI, police search for gunman wanted in Walton County murder

MONROE, Ga. - Police are searching for a man who they believe is responsible for the shooting death of a Duluth, Georgia man Sunday evening.

Qumentiz Marquez McKibben, 24, is wanted in Monroe, Georgia for the murder of 43-year-old Darrin Bernard Barnes.

McKibben is described as being a black male who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 145 pounds. Authorities said he has brown eyes.

He’s known to frequent Covington, Georgia and the Newton County area, as well as Monroe.

McKibben is believed to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
