COBB COUNTY, Ga. — An all-clear was issued after a suspicious vehicle was reported at Dobbins Air Reserve Base on Wednesday afternoon.
The Cobb County Police Department said in a statement that its officers and crews "have completed their check of a suspicious vehicle."
No one was injured in the incident. As the agency investigated, it told the public to "avoid the area," the statement added.
Dobbins is home to the 94th Airlift Wing as well as several other military support and operations units. It is located largely between the boundaries of Cobb Parkway and Atlanta Road to the east and west, and roughly South Cobb Drive and Windy Hill Road to the north and south just outside Marietta's city limits.
In its latest statement, Cobb County Police said its officer and emergency crews returned to regular service and left the area.
