Video shows aftermath of partial building collapse in Stockbridge

Authorities are responding to what appears to be a strip mall at 5039 N. Henry Blvd.

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — A building partially collapsed in Henry County Wednesday afternoon, according to the police department.

Authorities are responding to what appears to be a strip mall at 5039 N. Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge. The Stockbridge Bottle Shop and the Stockbridge Mattress Outlet are among the stores located at the address. 

Stockbridge Police posted a photo on social media, which shows the debris and a car damaged after the collapse. There are no injuries, police said.

11Alive SkyTracker also flew over the scene, where you can see a wooden frame and cement cinder blocks scattered. 

It's unclear at this time what caused the collapse. Authorities are asking people to avoid the area until the structure is stabilized.
