Missing man last seen by his family leaving Roswell home on Thanksgiving Day found: Police

Police said he was found on Friday.

ROSWELL, Ga. — Update: 

A 73-year-old man was last seen leaving his Roswell home on Thanksgiving Day and did not return was found on Friday, according to police.  

Authorities were asking the public for help finding an older man on Thanksgiving. He was last seen in the 1200 block of Wildwood Springs, between Trailside Court and Flowing Spring Trail, around 1:30 p.m. The location is near Leita Thompson Memorial Park and not far from Mountain Park Elementary School. 

He was last seen wearing gray pants, a plaid shirt and a black puffy jacket. 

The 73-year-old was believed to be walking in the area. He has been diagnosed with dementia and Parkinson's disease, according to police.
