ATLANTA — A car has caught fire in Fulton County closing several lanes on Interstate 75/Interstate 85 on Friday morning according to Georgia Department of Transportation.
It happened in the southbound lanes near University Avenue past Central Avenue/Fulton Street. GDOT said three of the six lanes were closed to clear the car.
Crews responded to the incident around 5:29 a.m. and expect to have roads open around 6 a.m.
No other information about the incident was provided by authorities.
