As Frontier offers summer pass, it adds new nonstop flights to international destinations from Atlanta

People can now fly from the world's busiest airport to new international destinations via the budget airline.

ATLANTA — It's official -- vacationers can now book nonstop flights from Atlanta to popular cities on the west coast and abroad via Frontier Airlines.

The low-fare carrier launched nonstop international service from Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Guatemala City, Guatemala. The airline originally made the announcement in March, adding that it hopes to continue to expand its service at the world's busiest airport.

People can also book nonstop flights to west coast destinations like San Diego and Ontario California and Salt Lake City.

“Atlanta is one of our fastest growing markets and serves as a large international gateway for Frontier," Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for the airline. "Connecting Atlanta to Guatemala City and Santo Domingo, while continuing to build out our domestic options, is all part of a major growth push at ATL that represents our strong commitment to Atlanta."

As of now, most fares to these nonstop destinations cost around $59 with options to fly out several times a week, other flight prices are $79 or $99. People can check flights here

The new nonstop flights come as Frontier is offering its summer pass for $499. The summer pass lets travelers access unlimited flights from May through September. People can view its terms and conditions here.
