ATLANTA —
Quick Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Few showers possible. Low: 65°.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy. Afternoon showers and storms. High: 83°.
Monday: Scattered showers, isolated storms. High: 83°.
Discussion:
The forecast won't change much in the coming days. Warm and humid with daily showers and storms possible. While a few showers may still linger overnight, most are drying out until Sunday afternoon.
Temps fall into the low to mid 60s for Sunday morning. The morning looks like the driest part of the day.
Showers will develop as temperatures warm through the afternoon, but not everyone will get rain. Pockets of heavy rain, gusty winds, and even small hail are possible, but storms are not expected to turn severe.
Temperatures climb quickly, and highs will reach the low 80s.
Rinse and repeat the forecast for Monday as well! A ridge of high pressure grows in strength Tuesday. This will lower rain chances to only 20% Tuesday and Wednesday.
Temperatures will also soar. Highs climb to the upper 90s by Wednesday, and humidity could make it feel even hotter for the middle of the week.
