ATLANTA — After clear weather and a small taste of fall at the end of the week, rain returned to the forecast on Saturday, prompting severe thunderstorm alerts and forcing a game delay for the Georgia Tech-South Carolina State game at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Midtown.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue into the afternoon, but the 11Alive StormTrackers expect the weather won't be a washout.

Fans attending the Georgia Tech  have been allowed to re-enter Bobby Dodd Stadium. 

2:09 p.m.

Fans at the Georgia Tech-S.C. State game have been told to seek shelter as weather delays kickoff at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. A rescheduled kickoff time has not yet been set.

Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for parts of Bartow and Floyd counties until 2:45 p.m.
