Northside Forsyth hosts weekly farmers market

Peaches and other fresh produce from Jaemor Farms in the North Georgia mountains can be purchased during weekly ‘pop up market.’

CUMMING, Ga. — People in Cumming are reaping the benefits of Jaemor Farms’ pop up market, which is set up in front of Northside Hospital Forsyth every Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“They can expect good quality produce,” Jerry Smith, the market supervisor, said. “Good vegetables and good fruits. We always try to have that available for them. Everybody comes through here. Visitors, hospital employees, even patients come out here in wheelchairs to see us.”

Jaemor Farms is a family-owned and operated business in Alto, GA.

“We have 500 acres of farm total, and we farm just about every acre there,” Smith said.

They’re known for their peaches, but that’s just one of many fruits and vegetables available on a weekly basis.
