DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A 20-year-old man was arrested Friday nearly one month after he allegedly shot another man multiple times during an alleged drug deal in DeKalb County, deputies said.

Just after 6:30 p.m. on March 18, police received calls of a person shot along the 4300 block of Glenwood Road in Decatur. When they arrived, they found Joshua Walker, who officers described to be in his 30s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a silver van.

Walker was rushed to the hospital critically hurt, where he later died. Investigators believe the shooting sparked when an alleged drug deal went wrong.

On Friday, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit arrested Charlie Buckholts, of Stone Mountain, at a home in the Indian Forest Trail neighborhood.

He was charged with malice murder and is being held without bond inside the DeKalb County Jail.
