Arrest made in fatal DeKalb County shooting, police say

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was arrested regarding the deadly DeKalb County shooting that happened on Wednesday, according to police. 

DeKalb County Police Department said officers were called to a subdivision in the 1400 block of Diamond Key at 2:22 p.m. 

When officers arrived, they reported a 34-year-old man shot multiple times, dead, lying in the grass. He was later identified as 34-year-old Dominique Jordan. 

Lafeme Pruitt, a 31-year-old, was arrested on Thursday and charged with murder, police said. Officers said earlier that an argument led to the shooting. Pruitt was booked in the DeKalb County Jail, and no information regarding bond was released.
