ATLANTA — A 23-year-old drowned at Lake Lanier Saturday after fall from a dock, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Authorities said they responded shortly after 10 p.m. to the Holiday Marina.
They said the man was running down the dock, slipped and fell in. His body was recovered dead in 17 feet of water.
Authorities identified the victim as Gavrie Alexander Whitlock of Snellville.
