COBB COUNTY, Ga. — An overturned tractor trailer has several lanes blocked on I-75 South in Cobb County early Friday morning.
It was not immediately clear if there were injuries in the initial incident. It was also unclear how the accident occurred.
Traffic cameras showed the tractor trailer on its side, with work crews on scene to turn it back upright. It appeared three right lanes were closed in the area of Terrell Mill Road.
Backup was forming as far back as Roswell Street in the Marietta area.
How to get around it
Anyone looking to get around the backup should exit the interstate and use Cobb Parkway back down to the Cumberland area.
If you're coming from the east, you can also use Powers Ferry Road to go down a ways instead of getting onto the interstate.
